The Hawaii Chamber Music Festival (HCMF) will showcase some of Hawaii’s finest classical musicians on Thursday, December 27, in a night of lush music paired with decadent desserts. HCMF will partner with Common Grace, a local keiki mentorship nonprofit, to present a program of great romantic works at Kaimuki Christian Church.
The evening’s performers will include Hawaii Symphony concertmaster, Ignace Jang, and cellist Joshua Nakazawa. Making his first Hawaii solo appearance, Markus Osterlund, a native of Hawaii and currently 2nd Horn with the National Symphony Orchestra, will make his HCMF debut as well. These three fine musicians will be joined by HCMF Founder and bassist, Chris Yick, and classical pianist, Minji Nam.
Tickets for the event are $35 per person and may be purchased here. All proceeds will benefit Common Grace and Hawaii Chamber Music Festival. For more information on this concert and other events from HCMF’s winter series, visit their website at hawaiicmf.org!
