Experience classical music in West Oahu. HCMF will be bringing the gift of music to Kapolei’s own, American Renaissance Academy. An exciting, new partnership with the ARA, members of the community will be dazzled by some of Hawaii’s most talented youth artists led by Tchaikovsky prize-winning violinist, Eric Silberger, and HCMF Founder and bassist, Chris Yick. HCMF will also be joined by classical pianist, Minji Nam, who will be making her debut.
Other musicians featured in this concert will showcase Hawaii’s most talented youth musicians such as Chelsea Cline (violin) and Catie Kaneshiro (cello). Violist and teacher of the Coraggio studio, Tyler Katsura will make his HCMF debut. Themed “1234,” the whole program will consist of solos, duos, trios, and quartets.
HCMF looks to showcase bits and pieces of master chamber pieces to engage the community in an unforgettable evening. For more information on all events from HCMF’s winter series, visit their website at hawaiicmf.org!
